PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

    Space Imaging’s IKONOS GEO 1-meter Black-and-White and 4-meter Multispectral imagery specifications:

SPATIAL RESOLUTION

    1-meter panchromatic (black & white) & 4-meter multispectral (color).
        PANCHROMATIC        0.44 – 0.90 micrometers
        COLOR               Band 1 (Blue)           0.45 – 0.53 micrometers
                                  Band 2 (Green)         0.52 – 0.61 micrometers
                                  Band 3 (Red)            0.64 – 0.72 micrometers
                                  Band 4 (Near IR)       0.77 – 0.88 micrometers                        

SCENE SIZE

    Customer specified area of interest (AOI). Minimum order is 100 sq. km.

SENSOR REVISIT TIME

    1-3 days

ACCURACY

    Average 23.8-meter RMS error in horizontal accuracy, excluding effects of terrain displacement

LEVEL OF CORRECTION

    Systematically corrected (map-oriented). The correction process removes image distortions introduced by the collection geometry and re-samples the imagery to a uniform     ground sample distance and a specified map projection.

DELIVERY TIME

    Upon entering space imaging's order system the imagery shall be delivered in part (shipped as acceptable images are acquired) or in whole within :
    Archive Date        : 30 days
    New collection      : 60 days for AOIs less than 500 sq.km
    New collection      : 120 days for AOIs greater than 500 sq.km
    The delivery time cannot be guaranteed due to unfavourable atmospheric conditions outside of Space Imaging’s control.

DYNAMIC RANGE

    Data is collected at 11 bits per pixel, but the product can be delivered as 11 bits per pixel (in two 8 bytes) or 8 bits per pixel.

CLOUD COVER

    The maximum allowable cloud cover is 20%.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS 

    If order is cancelled due to late delivery, no fees will be assigned. If order is cancelled prior to agreed upon delivery term. 25% of order value charged if cancelled after 3     days. 50% of order value charged if cancelled after 30 days.

The data will be delivered in wide-commonly used geo-referenced raster data format, such as Geo-TIFF, ECW, ASCII Grid or Northwood Geoscience Grid.
